I Like You! Do You Like Me?
Well, MySpace has proven its usefulness without a doubt: Jeff, Lance, and I attended the Boston MySpace screening of Borat. I am not even remotely exaggerating when I say it is not only the funniest movie of the year but hands down the best movie of the year. Nothing this year will be better, not The Fountain, not The Prestige, not The Marine, nothing.
Borat set the bar so high that it towers above everything else. Compared to Borat, everything else this year has been steaming crap. Everything in the movie is great but there is a sequence that no words can describe and the very least that can be said is that it's the single funniest sequence ever committed to film and has never, ever been seen before in the history of cinema. I can't wait for this thing to open so I can see it again and again.
To review the film now, two months before its release, would be a terrible idea. I can't and won't give anything away. Actually, even reviewing it after its release probably wouldn't work since describing the jokes would be a like kissing your sister after having sex in the vagine with your sister. Nice!
Highest possible recommendation. Borat, Borat, and some Jew named Sacha Baron Cohen deserve every Academy Award.
I like!
