Heroes Brand Extension
John: Usual rules, we're splitting the series in two and drafting each character to one of the shows.
John:
No characters currently dead.
John: Who's your number one draft pick?
Rob: This is a tough one. Peter could be the really good character. He has all the power, and what he does with it and how it shapes the future of the Heroes and of humanity could be a great story. That said, fucking Claire, who do you think?
John: You son of a bitch.
Rob: Like there's a choice? C'mon!
John: Fine, I draft Peter Petrelli. Because of all that stuff you said. (But I'd have preferred Claire.)
Rob: I'll take Micah. The character's only okay, but his power is neat.
John: I draft Sylar, because I want Peter and Sylar to finally fight. And they will, every week, every episode, for no reason.
Rob: I'll take Hiro. I still like Hiro.
John: You're drafting the Young Justice League.
John: I choose Elle, the lightning lass. You took the hottest girl on the show, I want the other one.
Rob: I'll take Micah's cousin, whatever her name is.
John: Monica.
Rob: Her too.
John: I'm assuming you want Monica and not the other cousin who wanted to pay $65 to watch Rey Mysterio wrestle Randy Orton.
Rob: I'll wait to see what his power is before I draft him.
John: I choose Nathan Petrelli, the man who flies and doesn't think it's so great.
Rob: Um, I pick...Claire's father. I don't hate him.
John: I wanted to draft him but separating Claire from Noah Bennet seemed wrong.
John: However, I draft the Haitian.
Rob: I guess I'll draft Claire's flying boyfriend. Why not?
John: His name apparently is West and not Douchebag as I've been calling him.
John: You're totally going with a youth based group.
John: I choose Niki Sanders, which also means Jessica Sanders.
Rob: I'll pick the white guy Hiro's hanging with.
John: Kensei.
Rob: He can regenerate, I don't see why I couldn't say he's immortal and still alive in the present day.
John: I expect him to be around, actually. Seems like a waste of a perfectly good character if he isn't around in present day.
Rob: I guessed he was the guy knocking off the Company. Seems I'm wrong about that though.
John: If I wanted the girl of the Wonder Twins, can I just have her and not her brother?
Rob: They're like the nWo, you draft them as a unit.
John: Fine. I'll take Maya and her stupid brother.
Rob: I'll take Molly.
John: Damn. I wanted her.
John: Interpret that comment any way you wish.
John: I need a Company man. But I don't want Bob. Since she's still alive, I'll draft Mother Petrelli. Why not?
Rob: I draft Ando, because he's not Parkman. I'll draft Mr Muggles before I draft Parkman.
John: We're so obviously dodging drafting Parkman and Mohinder.
Rob: Doesn't seem right to break them up.
John: I draft the black cop who hired Parkman for the NYPD. My Heroes will need an ally in the police department.
Rob: I'm drafting the ghost of DL. In an ironic twist, his ghost can't walk through walls.
John: Micah needs his dead father.
John: If we're drafting ghosts, I want the ghost of the black guy who talked to Peter in the dream last season.
John: I'm not sure how much more we can do. All the other characters with powers are dead.
John: And no one wants Parkman or Mohinder. But they must be drafted to complete the draft. You're up. Choose.
Rob: Mohinder. I fucking hate Parkman.
John: I hate Parkman too but I really hate Mohinder. I guess that works out.
John: I can always kill Parkman.
John: There are other characters floating about like Bob or Peter's Irish girlfriend or Parkman's wife, but I think we can call the draft settled.
Rob: I'm going to have my Heroes travel around the country in a van solving mysteries.
Rob: It wouldn't be worse than what they're doing now.
John: Mine are living in a Watchtower on the moon. “Plans were drawn, metals were mined...”
